Many of us feel as if we don’t deserve to be considered valuable. In comparison to others we knock ourselves by considering others to be far more skilled, equipped and worthy than ourselves. We would find it difficult to accept an award or gift recognizing our value. In today’s readings we find three prominent personalities from scripture, Isaiah, Simon Peter and the Apostle Paul, feeling the same way about themselves – up until they recognize the Lord at which time their lives change forever!
God knows who you are and considers you to be so valuable that he is inviting you to live with Him in His home, forever! You are so valuable, so worthy, so perfect that He, the Creator of the Universe, today calls you – personally. All He is waiting for from you, is a response – so let’s respond with the words of Isaiah – “Here I am, send me!”
