It is the fifth Sunday of Len, and we continue to recommit
ourselves wholeheartedly to Jesus and His world transforming
mission.
We are being sent to reshape the world by reshaping our own
lives. Lent is not a requirement for Christians but a spiritual
discipline that helps us to grow in God’s grace. One area of
focus today is prayer. John Wesley says “Prayer is where the
action is”
Three attitudes we need for our prayers to be answered.
-Be willing to let God answer in His own way
-Be willing to let God answer for His own purpose
-Be willing to let God answer in His own time
My prayer is that we create a space for God’s mercy to
transform our hearts and to become merciful in truth.
