The church in the blessing of changes

What a blessing touch of God in the changing times!

The Conference has come and gone. Resolutions that have been adopted are contained in the MCSA Web page. Just to report on how the changes input on us as Weltevreden Society.

  1. Rev Jacob Freemantle has been stationed as Superintendent of Uitenhage Kaba Circuit in Port Elizabeth Metro and will be staying with his family.
  2. The Circuit has had to do reshuffling. Rev Moagi Sekhejane, Superintendent will look after Weltevreden Society together with a new Probationer Minister Rev Peter Mosia.
  3. We congratulate Rev Vuyelwa Legwale on her appointment as Chaplin of Correctional Services in Pretoria. Rev Legwale leaves the Circuit Appointment at the end of October 2015 but will continue worshipping at Weltevreden Society. Please pray for our Circuit at this time especially Weltevreden Society.
  4. Rev Gary Rivas has been accepted as the Bishop Elect of Central District replacing Rev Peter Witbooi. His induction at Gracepoint Methodist Church will take place on 29 November 2015. Those who may attend please do so, meanwhile please pray for Gary and his family as he takes up such an important task of being a mission leader of the Central District.

In all these important changes, please pray for our Church in Weltevreden, Roodepoort Circuit and our Connexion.

“Even to your old age and grey hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you”
Isaiah 46:4
