Thank you God

Today as a community we look back and celebrate God for all the things He has done through us, in us, and for us.

Scripture reminds us that it is our duty as disciples or followers of Christ to always plough back to God and others for all the mercies He has showed us. In Hebrews 12:28-29 we read;

“Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.”

This message is reiterated in the words of a Hymnist; “Great is thy faithfulness, Oh God my father
There is no shadow of turning with thee Great is thy faithfulness Morning by morning new mercies I see All I have needed thy hands have provided Great is thy faithfulness Lord unto me.

I want to urge all of us to continue to serve God by sharing all we have with those who don’t have. The individualistic approach to life should be replaced by a notion of interdependence as created being of God. Most of all, give thanks to God almighty for the gift of life.

Shalom
Moagi
