A long awaited day is around the corner, are you ready to receive Him with open hearts? As we look forward to tomorrow in celebrating the birth of Jesus, I would like to invite you to a moment of absolute tranquility and self- introspection and try to understand who Jesus is our lives?
At the announcement of his coming, the angel Gabriel told Mary that the child will be called Immanuel, “God with us”. So, is it not consoling to know that wherever we are, in whatever situation we find ourselves in, we are reminded of the Omnipresence of God. A God who fulfils His promises of Deuteronomy 31:6;
6″Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.”
He is indeed trustworthy and present in our everyday situations. Just look back and look at how God became a pillar of strength throughout 2017. All that is left of us is to be grateful and receive the greatest gift God ever gave humanity, Jesus Christ, the life, the light, the way, the comforter, the intercessor, the truth, resurrection, the gate, a friend, and the salt of the earth. He can be whatever you want Him to be, all that is needed is receive him and surrender all to Him.
So, may God bless you richly throughout this holiday season. May God Almighty fill your lives with love, joy and peace into the New Year. Remember that Jesus Christ is the reason for this Christmas Season. May the timeless message of season fill your hearts and home with joy and throughout 2018 and beyond.
