We acknowledge that our faith is prolife as Christ said, “I have come so that you may have life and have it in its fullness”
We acknowledge that our Church stands for Justice and Service as one of our Mision Pillars. It is justice not to gather under these circumstances.
All Methodist in the Southern Africa are called by God to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ for healing and
transformation. This is toward a Christ Healed Africa for the Healing of the Nations.
We therefore resolve to be part of the solution in the fight against the spread of the Coronavirus. We commit to the following:
- Self Isolation – No Church gatherings for 2 weeks. We would rather pause for 2 weeks than closedown for 3 months. We will worship with our families at home during this time.
- Hygiene -We will sanitize and wash our hands. We will sneeze and cough onto our elbows.
- Resources – We will continue to enable Church life through EFT.
- Pastoral Visits – We will exercise caution and visit where we are most needed. We will pray for
all who need us.
