Love your neighbour as yourself. Love does not harm. Love is the fulfillment of the Law are all messages Paul wrote to us from ROMANS 13: 8 -14. This is a hard act to follow when we look around us at our Society. Humans are the cruelest of God’s Creation and are also the most caring and loving of God’s Creation. Jesus the Light of the world told us that when 2 or 3 gather in His name and ask for anything, it will be done! So as we see the carnage across South Africa and we fear the threat of nuclear war from North Korea, what are we missing? What does life offer its people….
Is God in control and what does God offer the current world in which we live? Are we asking God to change our world, and the hearts of His people… I believe and I include myself here that we have left Jesus out of all aspects of our lives. We are leaving God out of our lives. We are comfortable to let Him into those spaces of our lives that we want to. God wants to be involved in every aspect of our lives. If we loved our
neighbor as God asks,
if we love without harming each other, if we are law abiding then love will be fulfilled then our world would be a different place. I believe God still, does, will always, and will continue to love the world because God is love. The Passover story for me solidifies God’s immense and unreserved love for His people. The blood of the Lamb, Jesus, is our salvation. God made sure He offered a love solution to the Israelites. God is still crying out to protect and love us. God remains specific and determined in His love. He is caring and loving always, God is serious and
protective, and He is mighty and powerful in His love. So God’s offering to us, to this world remains LOVE. So my plea is to make sure that we offer love to the 4 corners of the world.
