Elections

With elections gone and dusted, results announced, and South African citizens coming out
triumphant – Now a new era of coalition governments on the cards. I want to urge all of us to pray for a smooth negotiations among political parties especially pray that their conversations will be for the betterment of our communities and delivering service to all.

As a church community, it is our duty to uphold our community leaders (especially now in local government) in prayer and always hold them to account on their functions / roles /offices to which they were elected into. We as a church remain impartial and promote Unity in diversity. I must say that, democracy in South Africa is surely maturing.

Let us therefore, continue to praise Him for His providence as some countries are not as fortunate to have peaceful elections like we have here in the southern tip of Africa.

Shalom
